HE The Minister of Labor Dr. Ghazi Al-Gosaibi has congratulated Bank Albilad for winning the third position as the "Best Work Environment" and the first position as the "Best Work Environment for Ladies" among the TOP 10 competing companies. The competition was organized by the Al-Iqtisadiya Newspaper and included 70 of the largest companies and banks in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In his letter to the Chairman of the Board, HE Dr. Gosaibi valued the bank's winning of such awards and passed his sincere congratulations to the Chairman as well as to all BAB staff for such an outstanding achievement. He also appreciated the bank's care of its employees in terms of enhancing their experiences and training them inside and outside the Kingdom to develop their job skills and capabilities.

On the other hand, the Chairman of the Board Mr. Musaed M. Al-Snani commended the initiative of HE the Minister of Labor. He reaffirmed that the BAB is concerned about upgrading the work environment of the bank and developing the capabilities of its employees to the highest scales of banking skills. He pointed out that the number of BAB's employees reached 1978 as at the end of 2007 with a Saudization percentage of 76%.

It is note-worthy that Bank Albilad has lately been honored in the ceremony organized by the Saudi Company for Research and Publicity and Al-Iqtisadiya Newspaper to deliver the best work environment awards to the winners. The ceremony was patronized by HRH Prince Dr. Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. The awards were received by Member of the Board Mr. Naser M. Al-Subeaei who represented the bank in the ceremony along with a number of the bank's dignitaries.
