Albilad Verse App To Open Kids Account


AlbiladVerse app is designed for kids between 5 and 15 years old aiming to develop their financial awareness and instilling responsibility and confidence among them in a unique educational way. It will be linked to the parent’s account in Albilad app, allowing parents to create an account for their kids, manage it, and request a card or bracelet for their kids.

The application also offers a virtual world for kids, providing them with the ability to interact with their friends and earn points that can be used in the metaverse.

What are the features of AlbiladVerse app? 

  • Request money from the parent.

  • Request a Goal Savings Account from the parent to encourage kids to save money.

  • Transfer money to friends after the approval of both the sender and receiver parents.

  • Complete the tasks assigned by the parent.

  • Purchase vouchers and gift cards.

  • Receive gifts and rewards from the parents (money, trips, gifts, vouchers, and a lot more).

  • Add friends and play with them in the metaverse. 


Through AlbiladVerse App, parents will be able to

  • Transfer money to their kids' accounts on AlbiladVerse app
  • Assign tasks to their kids that will appear on AlbiladVerse app, and transfer rewards upon completion.
  • Approve the Goal/s created by their kids.
  • Approve money transfer to kids’ friends.
  • View and manage kid’s card.
  • View their kid’s friends list.
  • Unlink all devices, or disable kids access to AlbiladVerse app.
  • Transferring money between friends requires the approval of the parents of both the sender and the beneficiary.

If The Parent Doesn’t Have An Account In Bank Albilad

  • Go to Albilad app
  • Choose "Join Us"
  • Choose "Open a new bank account" and then "Get started"
  • Fill in the account opening form
  • Authenticate the account opening request through IAM Service/Absher or at Albilad ATM that supports fingerprint
  • Your account will be created immediately
  • Click on the shopping cart at the bottom of the page 
  • Parent will proceed to accounts and select kids spending account.   
  • Parent will enter their national ID / Iqama number to view the list of their kids details.
  • Parent will select the desired kid to open their account. The kid’s age must be between 5-15 years old. 
  • Parent will have the ability to select between automatic top up or manual top up.
  • In case automatic top up is enabled, parent will select the cycle and the end date of the top up.
  • Parent will choose the payment method that they desire for their kid.
  • Account details will be viewed prior to opening an account.

Steps to Open an AlbiladVerse Account

  • Log in Albilad app
  • Click Explore at the bottom of the app.
  • Select “Apply for Accounts”, then choose “Additional Accounts”, and finally select “AlbiladVerse Account”. 
  • Enter the dependent's National ID/Iqama number to view a list of your kids aged 5 to 15 years.
  • Select the desired kid to open an account for.​
  • Enable or disable the automatic transfer.
  • Select the account from which the amount will be deducted.
  • Choose the preferred payment method for your kid (additional payment methods can be requested after the account is opened).
  • Review the account details before opening the account.

Steps to Register Kids in AlbiladVerse App

  • Download AlbiladVerse App then click New User.​

  • If the kid has an existing account, click on “Yes”.

  • Then the registration steps will be shown to the kid.

  • The kid should scan the QR code shown in the parent’s account in Albilad app.

  • The kid will enter the desired nickname and password.

  • An OTP will be sent to the parent mobile number, upon entering the OTP, the kid will be registered in the app.

Is AlbiladVerse app free?

Yes, the app is free. 

At what age can my kid use the app? 

The app is designed for kids from 5 to 15 years old.

Is the app safe for my kid to use? 

Yes, the app is safe for your kid as requesting money, sending money to friends, purchasing vouchers, and creating goals all need your approval.

Can my kid send money to a friend without my approval?

No, you have to approve the transfer then the request will be sent to the friend’s parent to approve it.

How does the app teach my kids about financial literacy? 

AlbiladVerse app includes activities and games that help kids learn about money management, saving, and spending in a fun and engaging way.

How do I deposit money into my kid’s account? 

You can easily transfer money from your bank account to your kid's account through Albilad app.

Can I monitor my kid’s transactions and activities on the app? 

Yes, all of your kids activities can be monitored. 

Can my kids log in to their accounts from the same device? 

Yes, AlbiladVerse app has the option to login with different accounts (each kid has a separate account). 

Can I disable AlbiladVerse​ app for my kid? 

Yes, you can temporarily disable the app and enable it again from your account on Albilad app.

What happens to the account if my kid’s device is lost or stolen?

You can unlink the account and its credentials from Albilad app.

What payment methods are available for my kids?

You can request a virtual/ physical card or bracelet for your kids.


Can my kids use the card to deposit money or withdraw cash?

No. The card can only be used at ATMs to check the balance. Cash withdrawals and deposits are not available.
